Laurel Petting Zoo - 2026

The Laurel Community League Petting Zoo was a tremendous success, bringing together hundreds of residents for an afternoon of fun, learning, and community spirit. Families of all ages enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and the wide variety of activities available throughout the event.

The beautiful weather and enthusiastic participation made the day even more memorable. Most importantly, the event strengthened connections among neighbours and showcased the vibrant spirit of the Laurel community. We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a wonderful celebration.

The petting zoo was the highlight of the day, giving children and families the opportunity to interact with a variety of friendly farm animals in a safe and engaging environment. From feeding goats to meeting rabbits and other animals, visitors experienced hands-on learning and plenty of memorable moments.

The animals were well cared for, and the knowledgeable staff ensured a fun and educational experience for everyone. Smiles, laughter, and excitement could be seen throughout the day as families enjoyed this unique attraction.

Beyond the petting zoo, there was no shortage of entertainment for children and families. The bouncy castle was filled with nonstop energy, while face painting transformed little ones into their favorite animals and superheroes.

Our friendly mascot delighted guests by posing for photos and greeting children throughout the event. Lawn games and other interactive activities encouraged families to play together, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, excitement, and lasting memories.

The event was much more than a day of activities—it was an opportunity for neighbours to connect and celebrate together. Families met new friends, children played together, and residents enjoyed spending quality time outdoors in Mabuhay Park.

The welcoming environment reflected the strong sense of belonging that makes Laurel such a wonderful community. Events like these help build lasting relationships and foster a stronger, more connected neighbourhood for everyone.

From planning and setup to welcoming guests and managing activities, every volunteer played an important role in making the day run smoothly.
